Marvel To Publish Star Wars: Doctor Aphra As Ongoing Series By Kieron Gillen And Kev Walker

It was a good guess from Bleeding Cool last month.

And this morning's Darth Vader #25 rather set it up. And now Marvel confirms it all. From Kieron Gillen and Kev Walker, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra beginning in December.

The Indiana Jones of the Star Wars universe, working for Darth Vader as a rogue archeologist, she has played the player and survived.

And now she and the killer droids O-O-O and BT-8, and bounty hunter wookie Black Krrsantan are heading off "in search of rare artifacts from the galactic center to the Outer Rim and everywhere in between. Aphra's got debts to pay after all. Just as long as she can stay one step ahead of the Empire, some Bounty Hunters and just about everyone else in the galaxy!"
