Kevin Smith Talks Batman V Superman

AMC brought back the cast of Comic Book Men to New York Comic Con as they prepare for the launch of season 6. The show sees Walt Flanagan try and manage the sometimes wild behaviors of Bryan Johnson (I'm not even supposed to be here, as I don't work at the store), Ming Chen and walking comic book encyclopedia Mike Zapcic.

In the past, the unscripted show has seen the cast members receive personal training from Lou Ferrigno, Challenge each other at a flea market and speak to visitors with exceptional collections of the world of fandom. The new season promises more of the same with appearances from Tom Cavanagh, Katrina Law and even a ride in the BatBoat.

The real interest from the panel was when Kevin Smith, known for his openness on any subject was questioned about Batman vs Superman and what he thought. Whilst Smith, who is a close friend of Ben Affleck, was complimentary about this version of Batman he was quick to state "I always wanted a movie with Batman and Superman and I was so happy to see them on screen together" he followed that up with the old fable "be careful what you wish for".

Smith recently finished directing his second episode of Flash for WB also followed up with how the Superman he always wanted to see is much closer to what we will get in the newest season of Supergirl.
