That Second Device In Manhattan, From Neal Adams' Point of View

Legendary comic creator Neal Adams got a unique viewpoint on a suspect explosive device, fashioned from a pressure cooker, found in Manhattan last night, in the wake of an explosion in Chelsea.

Directly from above, in the middle of drawing Kamandi for DC Comics.

Neal here. Bomb squad vehicle is right in front of our apartment building. This photo looks down. Behind the truck is the robot.

There is a ramp leading into the bomb squad vehicle. Moving lights are reflected on the ramp. Is there a bomb in there. We don't know.

Police walking around as if danger is over, removing flak jackets. Seems like the danger has passed. Can't know for sure. Check in later.

Just got the all-clear. Device has been removed. Everybody is relaxing. As am I. Back to penciling Kamandi.

FYI. Movie director Ang Lee has an edit studio in our building as well.

All are safe and sound, and the device was disposed of. Am I the only one who got a Watchmen flashback from this?
