211 Panels In The New Walking Dead – And It Begins With A Death

Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard continue their current Walking Dead arc with issue 158, part 3 of the six-part Whisperer War.

As part of this storyline, Kirkman and Adlard have been working with a 16 panel grid. There are expanded panels and splash pages within that, but it does make for a recompressed storytelling style that fits 211 panels into the comics' 22 pages, for $2.99, with two letters pages and a five page preview of Max Landis' new comic, Green Valley.

 

In comparison, Invincible Iron Man #13 out today offers you 108 panels over 20 pages and one letters page, for $3.99.
