A Walk Through Fort Collins Comic Con

Neil Greenaway (of NerdTeam30) writes for Bleeding Cool:

This past weekend (August 27 & 28) was the second annual Fort Collins Comic Con, held at the Northside Aztlan Community Center in Fort Collins, CO. This convention is on the smaller side, fitting the entire vendor floor into the gymnasium area of the center and utilizing several smaller rooms for the panels. Despite it's size, the FCCC has a big impact on the community at large. From their website:

"Fort Collins Comic Con 2015 brought together 1,800 geeks, pop-culture enthusiasts, gamers, fans, artists, writers, creators, cosplayers, and more into the Northside Aztlan Community Center on September 12, 2015. The sell-out crowd helped us raise $15,000 for the Poudre River Public Library District."

This year, the convention extended to two days and increased the number of tickets available to 2,500. The amount raised for charity ballooned significantly. $30,000 were raised for the Poudre River Public Library District. And there are already talks of moving to a bigger venue for next year.

There was a nice mix of local indie creators represented as well as a few unexpected industry veterans. Included here are photos of just a few of the many wonderful vendors in attendance.
