Steve Orlando And ACO Return To Midnighter & Apollo For DC Rebirth

apollo-midnighter-4afabDC's leading gay male lead, Midnighter, was notably absent from the DC Rebirth line.

Well, it looks like he's back with his beau, in a new limited series announced by DC PR in the New York Times timed for the end of Gay Pride Month, Midnighter & Apollo.

Six issues starting in October from Midnighter writer Steve Orlando, and Fernando Bianco, with Midnighter artist ACO doing covers.

Mr. Orlando, 30, who is bisexual, has an affinity for Midnighter. "Getting to write a character that helped me when I was younger and boost the signal to a new generation has been an honor," he wrote on his blog. Of the new project, he said, "This is the World's Finest Couple — kicking back and making each other better than they are on their own."
