Persona 5 Gets A Japanese Release Date And A New Trailer
Persona 5 has been a long time coming at this point. It was meant to come out last year, but it got pushed out of 2015, where it has more or less been quiet ever since.
Well, no longer. A livestream was held today, which revealed a Japanese release date, on top of a new trailer. The game will come to Japan on September 15th, just a few weeks before Final Fantasy XV. There is no word on a Western release date yet sadly, but to hold you all over, here is a new, nearly five minute trailer.
Honestly, as someone who only has a passing familiarity with the series, I have no idea what it going on here, but it is hard not to be impressed with how this all looks. Take a peek:
