Senator Patrick Leahy And The Dark Knight

Senator Patrick Leahy from Vermont is a huge Batman fan. So much so that he has had a cameo in four of the films and did a voice for Batman: The Animated Series. He also tried to ban landmines and worked with DC Comics to produce a Batman story on the subject. His roles haven't always had the best endings, he was threatened by the Joker in The Dark Knight and blown up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But he says his wife is a nurse and pieced him back together so he didn't miss a vote.
