Moonstone Brings Together The Black Bat & The Purple Scar

Moonstone Books is pulling together two pulp heroes, The Black Bat and The Purple Scar, in a new illustrated novel by Ron Fortier and Rob Davis. Both of the characters were created for Thrilling and published in the 30's and 40's. Where the company had good success with The Black Bat in the pages of Black Book Detective, the Purple Scar was one of the company's last creations and only ran from 1941 to 1943 in Exciting Detective.
