DC Comics Rebirth: What Happened To The Old DC Comics Pitches?

DC_comics_logo_2012It's a hard time pitching at DC Comics right now. Everyone's at it, everyone's in competition with each other – even those who don't know they're in competition with anyone.

But what's worse for some is that anything that was in the middle of being pitched, or considered, is dead. Everything has to be new. Even if what was previously pitched, was really, really good.

"Tumultuous" is the word I've have heard used. And its not just an issue for DC Comics. As a result of the upheaval and unsureity, record numbers of comic book professionals have been contacting editors at Marvel Comics, and publisher of Image Comics Eric Stephenson than ever before…
