Pina colada, anyone?

Valiant have just dropped the fifth and final tease in their week-long countdown of reveals for the coming year, and now it looks like Jeff Lemire's critically acclaimed Bloodshot Reborn series will be header to a warmer latitude in 2016.

As revealed today, we're getting the first official glimpse at "Bloodshot Island" – a name that been cropping up in recent issues of Bloodshot Reborn in connection to the title character's classified past, but without any specific reference to exactly where – or what – it may be:

According to the teaser, "Bloodshot Island" will be reuniting the title's original series artist Mico Suayan with Lemire and colorist David Baron in pages of Bloodshot Reborn in the New Year. The publisher has repeatedly touted the long-term work already underway on the first 25+ issues of the Bloodshot Reborn title at events like ComicsPro over the past year… Could this be the next shake-up coming to the series after Lemire and artist Lewis LaRosa's post-apocalyptic "Analog Man" storyline wraps next year?

Either way, from the looks of another early "Bloodshot Island" sneak peek dropped during Valiant's Book of Death panel at New York Comic-Con 2015, Bloodshot won't be traveling alone:

Look for Bloodshot Reborn to head to Bloodshot Island in 2016. Don't forget to bring a towel…
