Bethesda Has "Concerns" Over Battlecry
A lot of AAA publishers are very reserved with the information they release about the state of games. In a lot of cases, what might be a garbage truck on fire, is just a smiling face at public appearances.
As Bethesda often prove though, they aren't like other publishers. This particular instance is particularily interesting though. After Progress Bar (via IGN) inquired where Battlecry was after its absence at EB Expo, Behthesda said quite candidly:
We have concerns about the Battlecry game and whether it is meeting the objectives we have for it. We are evaluating what improvements the game needs to meet our quality standards. The studio remains busy during this process on multiple projects.
Bethesda obviously do have a high standard for games, and only want to produce excellent content. That's great to see. I hope they find a solution for Battlecry though. It would be sad to see it wither away.
