DC Comics Rushes To Publish A Supergirl Comic Alongside The CBS Show For $1 – But Just The One

So there's a Supergirl TV show coming. But no Supergirl comic book. And none scheduled until at least 2016.

DC Comics are rushing out a reprint of Supergirl #1 from the DC Comics relaunch written by Michael Green and Mike Johnson – Green is currently showrunning Sandman at HBO – and drawn by Mahmud Asrar and Dan Green. The comic will be printed with livery from the new TV show.

supergirlSelling for a dollar, it should hit comic book stores on October 21st.
