Kid Impact

On September 21, 2015, Planet Random Comics will launch a graphic novel called Kid Impact in partnership with the United Nation's International Day of Peace. Kid Impact is an adventure suitable for the entire family and will be introduced as part of a global Kickstarter Campaign.

Raymond writes,

I'm Raymond, the writer of Kid Impact. Our hero is a young Syrian refugee named Dawood. Already forced from his home by conflict, young Dawood finds himself in a new battlefield and is determined to save his younger cousin from the dire consequences of war. A mythical destiny intervenes as Dawood faces his greatest fears on a quest to reunite his family and become the hero for the next generation.

This is a super hero story that reflects current events and was conceived last year as my daughter and I discussed the escalating conflicts in Syria and Gaza. Kid Impact addresses real world issues and this project is continually inspired by the strength of the children suffering through these terrible ordeals and the perseverance of those working effortlessly to find peace.

Who am I? By day, I'm a 9-to-6 corporate cog, a father and husband. By night, I'm an award winning writer and publisher who is pursuing my love for comics through Planet Random Comics, a small family-owned business. I've worked on this project for several months because I'm tired of war and Kid Impact became the project I had to do.

Kid Impact offers great art, launches an important hero and has a message of peace told within a riveting and relevant quest.
