A Look Inside Voltron: From The Ashes From Bunn And Shepherd

Dynamite has officially announced the new Voltron: From The Ashes written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Blacky Shepherd. We say officially announce because we were a bit ahead of on this one when we covered it 10 days ago.

But now we have interior pages to show you from the six-issue miniseries that is set two hundred years after the events of Dynamite's previous Voltron series, the miniseries will introduce a new team to pilot the five lions that form the Defender of the Universe. The debut issue will launch in September 2015 and feature cover artwork from acclaimed Transformers artist Alex Milne.

Bunn is known for his Marvel work on Deadpool and Captain America along with the Masks series for Dynamite. Shepherd's previous work includes the horror graphic novel 3 Days In Darkness.

Voltron: From the Ashes #1 will be solicited in the July Previews catalog and shipping in September 2015.
