Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 Brings In The Punisher
The logo for Marvel's Daredevil, season 2 looks like it has seen better days. With six bullet holes in it, what character do you think would shoot it up?
The Punisher of course. And Marvel has announced today that Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) has been cast to bring Frank Castle to Netflix. With season one, Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk both wanted to clean up Hell's Kitchen, but the differed on the approach. I have a feeling that The Punisher's approach won't sit any better with ol' Horn Head.
"Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on, with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will connect with audiences," said Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television. "Castle's appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same."
Marvel's Daredevil is Executive Produced by Doug Petrie (American Horror Story), Marco Ramirez (DaVinci's Demons) and Drew Goddard (Lost), along with Loeb (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero "Daredevil" in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. "Marvel's Daredevil" stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Rosario Dawson.
