Mark Paniccia, The New Editor Of The X-Men Comics?

Mark_PanicciaBleeding Cool understands from connected, but not direct sources, that Mark Paniccia is the new Group Editor for the X-Men books at Marvel.

Currently Senior Editor at Marvel, he came to the publisher when Marvel acquired Malibu Comics, where he was Editor-In-Chief. Recently he has edited titles including Superior Iron Man, Hulk, Ultimate Spider-Man and Fantastic Four.

Mike Marts, the previous X-editor, departed to be editor-in-chief of the newly forming Aftershock Comics.

How this will affect the X-Men books is, well, something we'll be looking at in an upcoming article.
