Wonder Woman, Cheaper In Digital Than Print?

11206069_10152948910801359_4284230336425546503_n (1)It's been a principle that, initially at least, DC Comics doesn't sell a digital copy of a comic book for less than the print copy. After a month or so, things may change, but initially at least the publisher keeps price parity.

That seems to have changed with the Wonder Woman '77 Special. As Wonderworld Comics retailer Dennis Barger rages,

We order a 7.99 comic that has 6 parts and on release day you are selling it for $6 thru kindle??? I knew it would be available first digitally, but I thought the expressly stated covenant with retailers was it wasn't supposed to be cheaper on release date? This is a great book that I as a retailer once again supported and have learn another lesson to never trust you clowns

Such language Dennis…. What Would Wonder Woman Do? W4D?
