Is The 2015 Doctor Who Calendar Trying To Tell Us Something?

Comic colorist Charlie Kirkoff made an interesting observation on his Facebook page yesterday. He noted that in the new Doctor Who 2015 calendar, all of the Doctors have a classic monster / villain pictured behind them… Except for Peter Capaldi, he has Clara Oswald.

Anyone else get this calendar? Did you notice that every month has a Doctor with an iconic monster behind them but 12 has Clara behind him? Makes you think. ‪#‎doctorwho‬ #2015 ‪#‎calendar‬ ‪#‎ClaraISaMonster‬

They could have gone with the Half-Face Man from the first episode of the season or Missy or the dragon from the moon… but they went with Clara. Like Charlie, I wonder if that means something for the upcoming season.
