Marvel Announces Secret Wars 2015 To Follow Time Runs Out, by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic (VISUAL UPDATE)

A Bleeding Cool reader saw Marvel put up a Secret Wars image at their booth on the floor of New York Comic Con. But no pics were allowed…

Because at Times Square, Marvel just announced that to follow Jonathan Hickman's Time Runs Out storyline at Marvel, he will be writing a year long Secret Wars series, with Esad Ribic on art, starting in May. This is something Hickman brought to them in 2012 when he first took on the Avengers titles.

Also joining them in this journey is Hasbro, Upper Deck, Gentle Giant, Funko, Hot Topic and more.

Crisis? What crisis?

UPDATE: And here it is, by Alex Ross. Say, can you see any of the Fantastic Four at all? Looks like we have Marvel's past fighting Marvel's future… Earth One vs Earth Two? Or is this the twinned world that Ex Nihilo created? I rather think it might be…

imageMiles Morales… Nightmask is there too… is there the classic Star Brand? And hang on… is that St George from Shadowline? American Dream, Iron Man 2020… How many Earths are there here….?

Hang on, is that Obnoxio The Clown???

Also revealed at the event is will be an ABC primetime special focused on Marvel's 75th Anniversary and airing in the regular Marvel's Agents of SHIELD time slot on November 4th. It will be hosted by Emily VanCamp who played Agent 13 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
