Free Vamplets Graphic Novel On ComiXology. Go On, Corrupt Your Children.

This morning my kids woke to a nice surprise.

On both of their tablets was waiting free copy of the Vamplets graphic novel, the toys and comics of which they have enjoyed since San Diego Comic Con. The Nightmare Nursery.

And it's free on ComiXology until September the fifth.

Apparently it was recently featured on The View. That and Thor. I believe we call this diversity.

Vamplets is the story of teenager Destiny Harper. With graduation coming and zero prospects for the future, Destiny is at a crossroads in her life. Answering an ad for "The Night Care Nursery" seems like a great idea, until she is magically transported to Gloomvania, where dark creatures lurk the streets, and the world is being mysteriously overrun by baby vampyres called Vamplets! Can Destiny serve her term as Governess of "The Nightmare Nursery" and return home? Fairy tales get a modern update in this coming of age tale of monsters, mayhem, and magic!

So you know, when our kids ask for My Little Ponies, Barbie Dolls and the usual capitalist claptrap, remember to offer a just-as-capitalist-but-doesn't-look-like-it alternative… it will lead to all sorts of interesting discussions with other parents outside the school gates, regarding your suitability for the role.
