The Millionth Copy Of My Little Pony Comic Sells For Over $6500 (Original Art UPDATE)

Heritage Auctions has sold a copy of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic #12 in 9.6 CGC condition for $6572.50.

Only one copy of this edition was produced, with a cover by Sara Richard, entitled “The 1 Million Edition – Only Copy Produced”, to celebrate the millionth printed edition of a My Little Pony comic from IDW. So that’s pretty rare then.

Auctioned by IDW, the money raised is going to Give Kids the World, a nonprofit organization that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Heritage will also be auctioning the original art to this cover as well.

lfUPDATE: The original art for this cover went for half the price of the printed comic…
