Peter Quill's Mix-Tape From Guardians Of The Galaxy Remixed As Hip Hop Album

When I wrote about the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie I said,

"Oh and the real winners in this film? Apart from the makers of eighties music mix albums?"

When he woke up last Thursday and read that quote on Bleeding Cool, Kilgorian Tralfamadore knew his hard work would pay off.

In July, after a conversation with a friend, he decided to commence work on "Space Guardian: Awesome Mixtape Vol. 1", a parody of Peter Quill's mixtape in the film. Each track on the album contains a sample from the film's soundtrack, in true hip-hop fashion. (All samples licensed under Fair Use for purposes of critique, criticism, parody, and education.)

I first shared his music with the world when he did a music video for Bill Jemas' Wake the F Up comic. So I'm very happy to share his latest project as well.

He even shot a music video that is a fun parody on the first GOTG trailer.
