How The Dynamite Humble Bundle Made $100,000 With In 24 Hours And 4 Free Comics Including Wheel Of Time #1

1141311On Wednesday the Humble Dynamite 10th Anniversary Bundle kicked off. It's the largest comic related bundle to date offering 120 digital comics and graphic novels for the low low price of… whatever you want to pay. Yes, you decide how much you want to pay. You also decide how much goes to the charity, how much to Dynamite and how much to Humble Bundle. That's the simplified version, there are donation levels and paying the average, etc… that all can be found on the webpage here. https://www.humblebundle.com/books

But the big thing is just how people have reacted to the bundle. In the first twenty-four hours over $100,000.00 was made, over 8,500 bundles were sold at an average price of $11.75. That means in a set-up where you could give whatever amount you want… people were still spending over $11 each. Stuff like that goes to show the kindness in reader's hearts.

Well, that kindness didn't just last the first twenty-four hours. As of the time I'm writing this over $140,000.00 has been spent with 12,000 bundles sold and averaging $11.50 per sale and Dynamite wants to keep that going. Today they are sharing with the Bleeding Cool readers not 1, not 2 but 3 free books to read. Red Sonja #1 and #2 by Gail Simone, Amanda Hocking's The Hollowland #1 and Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time #1. And keep in mind that if you donate over $15.00 you get digital copies of the Alex Ross art book and all 35 issues of Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time.

And some folks give a lot more than $15.00. Here are the top five amounts:

1. Comics4Bitcoins – $118.00
2. Jon – $100.00
3. @olemd – $75.00
4. JFF – $50.00
5. Mike Miller – $50.00

Proceeds go to The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, Doctors Without Borders and The Make A Wish Foundation.
