How Marvel Comics Sees Europe Today

In the UK, there is currently considerable debate about our continuation as a member of the European Union. Indeed, there is much debate in many European Union countries along similar lines, with a rise in nationalist party representation in recent European elections.

The proposed adoption of Luxemborgian Jean-Claude Juncker as the next President of Europe has caused plenty of ructions here, with the British Prime Minister openly stating his opposition, and promising a referendum on leaving the EU in the next Parliament.

Add to that the international rivalries spurred on by the World Cup.

What Europe clearly needs at this time is unity. A common purpose. A team to inspire. Formed from the common purpose of Eurolab and Task Force, made up of Argento, Danger, Deep Sight, Key, Nuage, Picaro and Tiger, and first appearing in the Marvel Italia title Europa. And not in any way looking like they were ripped off from WildCATS and Cyberforce.
