This is the Top Ten Bleeding Cool Bestseller List, as compiled by a number of comic stores from their sales on Wednesday and Thursday. It measures what are known as the "Wednesday Warriors", those who can't wait to the weekend to get this week's comics. We salute you, and the keenness you bring to your passion…

Batman and Batman Eternal take the top, unchallenged, but the publicity for Guardians Of The Galaxy is really effective, it seems. Futures End is also holding its end up, and there's a strong debut for Trees and for the second issue of Southern Bastards….

  1. Batman #31
  2. Batman Eternal #8
  3. Guardians of the Galaxy #15
  4. Futures End #4
  5. Uncanny Avengers #20
  6. Avengers #30
  7. Trees #1
  8. Nightwing #30
  9. Godzilla #1
  10. Southern Bastards #2

Who had this to say…

Batman, Batman, Batman. Superman may have suffered from them forgetting to put the DOOMED logo on the top.

Great week in comics! Batman dominated as usual, but with Guardians of the Galaxy hot on it's tail. Great debut for Warren Ellis & Jason Howards TREES #1 from Image. It outsold some pretty big books from Marvel & DC. Same goes for Southern Bastards #2. Tons of people scooping up more and more of these creator owned Image titles and we couldn't love it more. Keep em' coming!
Odd week for us? Aquaman in the top 10? Due to a Swamp Thing appearance. Maybe?
Also, the Chew/Revival flip book out performed expectations.
C.O.W.L. was a solid seller.
Shazam TPB didn't last to see lunch. And that's with a decent advance.
Southern Bastards flew off the shelves.
And weirdly, Suicide Squad sold in a day what ALWAYS lasts 3-4 weeks.

In this region, Memorial Day drove people out of town in droves, so anomalous numbers this week.

Always a good week when the newest Batman comes out. Batman Eternal is a nice bonus. Secret Origins 2 with Batman icing on the cake. Guardians of the Galaxy is on fire. Dynamite got some love with the newest Dejah Thoris of Mars issue 1.

Spiderman back issues suddenly became red hot. We blew out of most of the first series of Amazing Spiderman. Batman issue 1 of his current series is still setting a blaze.

Solid week for books. Batman was the dominate book like always and Batman Eternal staying strong with the same average sales each week. Second time Avengers has sold out the first week of release, the cross-overs for Original Sin seem to be working without complaint this time around.

Batman the clear winner in the back-issue market, however Superior Spider-Man still going strong with people picking up a hand full of back-issues at a time. Walking Dead #127 sold huge over the weekend, should run out of first printings in a week or so.
