Close Date: Kickstarter campaign ends May 9th, 2014

Elevator Pitch: Just Another Sheep is a sci-fi road trip set in during the summer of love. It follows a timid teen learning to think for himself in the days of free love, and the Vietnam War. Perfect for fans of Y: The Last Man or Sweet Tooth.

Mat Heagerty writes (in the third person):

1967 America was full of followers. Young people willing to align themselves to whichever cause barked the loudest. This is a good thing, for the most part. There was a lot of injustice that needed to be stopped.

But would happen if one such easy swayed, overly idealistic youth had amazingly bizarre abilities? What if the youth aligned with the wrong cause? That is the question Mat Heagerty and JD Faith are asking in their recent comic Just Another Sheep. Heagerty is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the completion of the series.

And he's offering an exclusive reward through Bleeding Cool for this weekend only…

Any pledge will receive a free PDF of Mat Heagerty's one-shot Wrinkled soon to be released by 215ink. "Wrinkled is like Fargo meets Cocoon", said Heagerty. The comic features art by Will Tempest known for his work on Zero from Image Comics.

Simply back the project at any amount, then message Heagerty "Bleeding Cool and your email address" the PDF will be sent out this coming Tuesday April 15th.
