Aquaman: The Teen Drama Is Coming. Watch The Trailer, Win The T-Shirt.

This looks like a fake trailer by Patrick Willems for the usual Afterwards They Will Explode video series. It's not.

It's an actual trailer for a fan-web series Aquaman: The Teen Drama by Patrick Willems and the crew. They are seriously making this… and it's great.

Tell one, tell all. The series will premiere in Late October and the cast and crew, making new Bleeding Cool videos at NYCC, will be easily identified by their Aquaman: The Teen Drama t-shirts.

Also, they will be very happy to talk to any Warners folks about doing this "for real".

No, damn it, this is for real. And if you want your own Aquaman: The Teen Drama T-shirt, here's the deal. Make a Tumblr gif using this video, run a link in the comments before and the best ones will win a shirt.

Get going!

UPDATE: Here was the casting call…

Casting "Aquaman: The Teen Drama," a comedic web series consisting of five 5-minute episodes (you can think of it as a 25-minute short film). Producer states: "In simplest terms, it's 'Gossip Girl' starring Aquaman, and by Aquaman we mean the DC Comics superhero, member of the Justice League, and heir to the throne of Atlantis. In full spandex at all times, which no one finds unusual. All the other roles are based on characters from actual Aquaman comics, but refashioned into people right at home on a CW show. The humor comes from everything being played totally straight. It looks and sounds like a real teen drama, full of wealthy backstabbing teens from Manhattan's Upper East Side, but the presence of Aquaman makes the entire thing ridiculous. This project is for a mildly successful YouTube channel (1.6 million total views, videos featured on Gawker, CNN.com, Vulture, etc.) that has been producing humorous, geek-oriented videos for the past two years. Being a part of this could likely lead to an ongoing working relationship."
