I'm your instructor for this short class, and I'll be walking you through some of the best ways to start and enjoy one of the most colorful and creative hobbies out there. Your First Comic Book
You've already taken step one by visiting a local comic book retailer on Free Comic Book Day. If you are reading this issue, then you've likely attended a special event and partaken of a nice selection of free comics. By now, you realize that there is an incredible wealth of diversity in comics and there are books which will interest just about anyone from any background. And so you have uncovered the first rule of comic collecting: Buy what you like.
