Bloodshot By Gage, Eternal Warrior By Pak And Hairsine, A Talking Goat And New Unity – Valiant At Chicago

IMG_7564Valiant representatives told retailers that the "Summer Of Valiant" would be bookended with two ongoing series, beginning with the announced Quantum And Woody.

Which will have a variant front cover with an AR code to reveal a talking goat – which was demonstrated for the crowd.

And yes, as Bleeding Cool revealed yesterday, the last page of their Free Comic Book Day will reveal a new Unity series out at the end of the year (apparently this is no longer to be deemed a spoiler), and they promise it is something neither new nor old Valiant attempted… and that the new arc on X-O Manowar will lead into it.

Bloodshot will be getting a new zero issue, a new creative team, and will tell his definitive origin story, starting in September. After which Bloodshot will be renamed Bloodshot HARD Corps and will be written by Christos Gage, with the same numbering.

And we will get Eternal Warrior by Greg Pak and Trevor Hairsine.

They will be launching a new twist on their Pullbox variant covers after Unity called Pullbox Plus.

And on May 2nd, you'll be able to download an 8 Bit-style Harbinger game on iTunes for free, withe new levels being released with new issues to avoid spoilers.

You can expect a Ninjak ongoing series, but not yet.

And they are to sell licensed energy shots through Diamond – anyone for a Bloodshot Nano Cherry?
