Cartoonist Mohammad Saba'aneh Detained

Amsterdam-based The Cartoon Movement has announced that one of its Palestinian cartoonist members, Mohammad Saba'aneh, was detained last Saturday by the Israel Defense Forces at a border crossing between Jordan and the West Bank.

Editorial cartoonist for the al-Hayat al-Jadida newspaper, official daily newspaper of the Palestinian National Authority, he also works in PR at the Arab
American University (AAU) in Amman and has attended the Association of
American Editorial Cartoonists.

It's claimed he was returning home from the University when he was held. No other information is, as yet, known.
