France Gets Two Free Comic Book Days

America has one Free Comic Book Day on May the 4th 2013.

So naturally, France has to do two.

Inspired by the American event, on the 5th and 6th of April, six of the biggest French comics publishers will, between them, be giving away over a hundred thousand comics across France. Comics will be available from Bamboo, Casterman, Dargaud, Dupuis, Fluide Glacial, Grand Angle, Jungle and Le Lombard.

Here are the titles lined up so far;

Pico Bogue – La Vie et moi by Dormal and Roque –  Dargaud

Le Royaume Vol 1 : Anne by Féroumont –  Dupuis

Ernest & Rebecca Vol 1 : Mon Copain est un microbe by Daléna & Bianco – Le Lombard

Pascal Brutal Vol1 : La Nouvelle Virilité by Riad Sattouf –  Fluide Glacial

Le Tueur Vol 1 : Long Feu by jacamon and Matz – Casterman
