Frank Cho’s Savage Signing

One of the nice things about the comic industry is when you get to meet the person who created the comic/character/story/art you admire so much in person. This past Sunday, fans of Frank Cho (Liberty Meadows, Mighty Avengers) were able to meet the writer/artist at Cards, Comics & Collectibles for the launch of Cho’s Savage Wolverine series.

ComicWow interviewed Cho at the signing and asked him why he chose Savage Wolverine and his reason for bringing Shanna the She-Devil into the series. Cho also reveals why he got the nickname, “Monkey Boy.”

Everyone who attended received a free Liberty Meadows 2013 calendar. One lucky attendee won the Frank Cho original art sketch cover of Wolverine #300…
