Pop Culture Hounding Emma Rios And Guillermo Ortego – Including Pretty Deadly As A "Surreal Western"

Chris Thompson writes;

Although our look at Marvel Now! may be winding down, this week Taylor and I have the hotly anticipated (at least by us) Morbius The Living Vampire #1 from Joe Keatinge & GRichard Elson and New Avengers #1 from Jonathan Hickman & Steve Epting to enjoy.

We also present the long-overdue Christmas/New Year Special I recorded with artists Emma Ríos and Guillermo Ortego at Malta Comic-Con last month. Aside from sharing beers and cracking jokes, we make fun of my poor attempts at Spanish; discuss techniques and how they got started in the industry; share our mutual love for Brandon Graham, David Aja, and classic Westerns; talk about what's coming up next; and much, much more!

All that and we continue to enjoy our BrewDog Craft Beers with the mind-blowingly strong Anarchist/Alchemist.
