Today three classic characters get new looks. One or two may be more permanent than the others, but all refer back to the past, or an old continuity, with a certain twist…

Firstly, the Beast in All-New X-Men. After undergoing both mental and physical gymnastics, he emerges looking… well, less feline and more ape like, but definitely different to his previous looks. And rather reflective of his own nostalgic state in the book…

While in Justice League Dark, Black Orchid undergoes a similar transformation to become something bulkier and closer to another creature more associated with The Green and John Constantine.

And in Ultinate Spider-Man, an old favourite returns to haunt Miles Morales, with a bulkier look than ever…

When I was a kid, my favourite Star Wars toy that I bought with my own money was a Gamoran Guard. Because you got more for your money. Only fools paid the same for a Jawa. But then we entered a “Less Is More” phase and that kind of decision making was frowned upon.

Apparently “More Is More” again. Good.
