Italian Politics Goes A Little Bit Fantastic Four

The Italian political party PD used a picture from the movie Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in their latest advertising campaign that aired today. On November 25th, the party is holding its primary elections, and this is how it is presenting the contest. In the picture we have Nichi Vendola (Mister Fantastic), Pier Luigi Bersani (The Thing), Laura Puppato (Invisible Woman), Matteo Renzi (Human Torch), and Bruno Tabacci (Silver Surfer). This is the party's official website, folks.

The Italian media reacted predictably with some asking if the party website had been hacked. And quoteing Matteo Renzi hoping no public money was used creating these materials…
