Hey Fandom! Today I'm talking about my love of the DC New 52 "Dark" books Swamp Thing and Animal Man by Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire. These are easily two of the best DC books on the stands and are a template for how to relaunch characters well. I'm one of the biggest fans of these horror heroes and I can tell the writers are too. They are reverent to the mind blowing runs of Alan Moore and Grant Morrison before them, but are breaking new ground.

I also talk briefly on other DC Dark books like Justice League Dark and Frankenstein and how this shared corner of the DCU is wonderfully executed. If the other houses of the New 52 had this much direction and cohesion I'd interact with a lot more happy life long fans as well as those who newly discovered the franchises!
