FCBD 2012: Collector’s Paradise In California… And Hastings

California’s Collector’s Paradise has two stores involved heavily with Free Comic Book Day this May the 5th, one in Padadena, the other in Canoga Park.

Signing talent includes Ed Brubaker, Steven Niles, Josh Fialkov, Jim McCann, Kyle Higgins, Rodin Esquejo, Sonia Oback, Gabriel Hardman and Corinna Bechko, Cbisy and Shane Houghton and Matt Whitlock.

Theor Free Comic Book Day has been transformed into Free Comic Book May, with more giveaways for subsequent weeks through May with more signings, parties and promotions.

Future guests will include Sam Humphries, Christina Strain and Charles Hatfield.

With slightly more that two stores, the Hastings entertainment chain which has recently grown its comic book stock to levels that are making a real impact on the comics market as a whole, will also be participating, giving up to ten free comic books to attendees.

With around a hundred and fifty stores across twenty-one states, that’s an awful lot of free comic books heading out there…
