Carbon Grey’s Second Series Takes Aim At Kickstarter

There’s a new issue of Carbon Grey in the June Previews, from Image. But just because a book gets published by Image, even its second series, there’s no guarantee it will be plain sailing.

Writes Hoang Nguyen;

I have been self-funding this project for a while now, unfortunately, I’ve now ran out of money. The budget for the first arc was 40K and the second arc will be the same. I’m now reaching out to the KickStarter community to help me fund the second story arc. It will be another 3 issue mini-series published by IMAGE Comics.

I need to finish Carbon Grey just as much as I need to breathe. It’s hard to explain, the need to be creative can be overwhelming at times. “What my mind sees, my hand cannot create fast enough.” Please help me and my friends finish what we have started.

So it’s time for Kickstarter. As a sci-fi opera, Carbon Grey is stunning, both the look of the pages and the story it tells. If you enjoyed Saga, and get off on the Star Wars/A Game Of Thrones vibe then this comic might actaully do that better, and should totally be in your Buy Pile.

There are some decent rewards too…
