Marvel To Publish Dexter Comics Actually Written By Jeff Lindsay

From the end of the Cup Of Joe New York Comic Con panel yesterday, the news that Jeff Lindsay, creator of the Dexter novels that were also turned into an ongoing TV series, will be writing all new Dexter stories, in the continuity of the books, next year.

While the origins of the serial killer or serial killers, with a secret identity as a police forensic expert, often covering up his own crimes, is similar, the narrative of the books an dthe TV series have gone in their own directions, with a variety of different dead people in each.

And the comic books will most definitely fit into the bookiverse for Dexter. Well, I suppose the TV version has had this…

And in a split from the norm, the writer of the books is actually writing the comics themselves. I know, who’d have thought?
