The Smiths Graphic Novel - Starting Something He Can Finish

Unite And Take Over is a comic book anthology of stories inspired by the songs of The Smiths.  Its premise is “What is the story that plays in your head when you listen to your favorite Smiths song?”.

Sean Demubrum (whose surname certainly sounds like Morrissey’s singing on occasion) has assembled fifteen creative teams for the project and will release the finished collection at the Tucson Comic Con in November.

If his Kickstarter plans go… to plan, that is.

As part of that, a special Kickstarter-only cover will be printed depending on how many donators select it as a reward, featuring the lead singers of Smiths tribute bands including Strangeways, Handsome Devilz, This Charming Band, Sweet and Tender Hooligans, The Sons and Heirs, The Smiths United, Still Ill, The Socialists, Louder Than Bombs, Viva Morrisey, The Smiths Limited and The Smyths.

There will also be a Tucson Comic Con exclusive cover by Jason Pedersen.

Shawn is looking to raise $3000 and is a tenth of the way there. Why not give this charming man a hand?
