Dark Horse To Create Exclusive Digital Comics Content Available Via Comic Shops

Dark Horse To Create Exclusive Digital Comics Content Available Via Comic ShopsAt today's Diamond Retailer Breakfast meeting at NYCC (and boy are my fingers tired from typing that) Dark Horse announced that they are about to start a new line of exclusively digital comic books – but that you'll only be able to get them from comic shops.

How exactly this would work wasn't entirely made clear. Nor if a price point would be involved. But Dark Horse stated that their mission with this was to get enw readers into comic shops – and what the retailers did then was up to them.

In another news. Dark Horse's Free Comic Book Day offering in 2011 will be a flip book with Baltimore by Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, and Ben Stenbeck, and a new book by Steve Niles, with complementary covers.
