Yes, it looks like this year's anniversary of the 11th of September attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon are going to get messier than usual. And all because of plans for an Islamic cultural centre. Naturally we can turn to the political cartoons for a moderate, reflective view, and not when intended to whip up feelings or exaggerate the worst of us.

Sorry, what the hell was I thinking of.

Anyway, I'm pleased to hear that the Koran-burning protests have ben called off. Though, judging by some websites, forums and message board posters, maybe they can reinvent it as Watchmen Burning Day?
