Angel Moves From IDW To Dark Horse For 2011On the editorial page of Dark Horse's Riley comic, out today in the US, out tomorrow in the UK, editor Scott Allie writes telling readers "What's next for the Whedon clan at Dark Horse? How about a Dollhouse comic written by Jed and Maurissa, who wrote key episodes of the show. And the return of the Angel series to Dark Horse in late 2011, in tandem with our Buffy Season 9 relaunch? I can't wait to hold these comics in my hands."

Angel is a series that IDW have published after Dark Horse relinquished the license. But the success of the Buffy Season 8 project, as well as Angel appearing in the Buffy comic, may have made the license seem all that more attractive again.

IDW aren't commenting much on the appearance of the news, which seems to have taken them by as much surprise as the appearance of Angel in Buffy Season 8. The current line is;
