The Great Doctor Who Conspiracy II – Neutronic Boogaloo

Because I've decided I didn't make enough of a fool of myself the last time. The second Great Doctor Who Conspiracy. Warning, you will have been expected to have seen the Time Of Angels/Flesh And Stone double episode. If you haven't there will be spoilers. Big massive spoilers jumping up and down going "Yoo hoo! Yoo hoo!"

Right. Now. Have we seen our first Matt Smith multiple Doctor story and missed it? Because they're both played by Matt Smith?

After losing his jacket to the Weeping Angels, the Doctor leaves Amy, eyes closed, with the Clerics, all in a bit of a rush.

Then suddenly he's back again, with jacket, sporting a far softer tone. He asks her to remember what he told her when she was seven.

DOCTOR: Now, listen. Remember what I told you when you were seven?

AMY: What did you tell me?

DOCTOR:  No… That's not the point. You have to remember.

(He kisses her on the forehead and leaves)

And then the next time we see him he's jacketless again – and remains in shirt and braces so for the rest of the episode.

Even as Amy tries to get them off as well.

So was soft-tender Doctor from a  future point in his timeline? How did he get here, wouldn't we have heard another TARDIS appearing and disappearing? Maybe not, especially considering River Song's revelation earlier in the episode that the TARDIS only makes the noise it does because the Doctor keeps the brakes on. What if he, quite deliberately this time, left them off?

The one thing I'm still holding onto from the original Great Doctor Who Conspiracy post? That the Doctor did actually return to the seven year old Amelia. And maybe give her a few cheat codes. Hence where she got the remind-the-robot-of-his-fake-love, get-the-queen-to-abdicate hints and tips…
