Thirteen year old Erik Martin has liver cancer. But that hasn't stopped him from wanting to be a superhero. And last Thursday, the Seattle branch of the Make-A-Wish Foundation made that dream come true.

Electron Boy – One Day As A SuperheroRecruited from his Bellevue classroom by Spider-Man, Erik found himself on call as superhero Electron Boy, with a mission to defeat defeat Black Out Boy and Doctor Dark with the assistance of Lightning Lad and Moonshine Maiden, to free local sports team the Seattle Sounders, locked in their dressing room.

Electron Boy – One Day As A SuperheroAnd outside the Space Needle, a two hundred strong crowd were there to support Electron Boy in his battle. Erik's reaction? "This is the best day of my life."
