Killer Creates Comic About His Crime

Killer Creates Comic About His CrimeYesterday, I ran a story about how a man who stalked a woman before shooting him, has left behind a disturbing graphic novel.

Today there's news about how another killer has written a comic book about the event.

The Day I Killed Someone is by Des Brown, Pastor at the Emmanuel Christian Centre in London. The five page story describes the events in which he stabbed the son of a policeman in a street fight when Des was 17. The man died as a result of the wound, and Des served two years after pleading guilty to the charge of manslaughter.

The family of the dead man dispute the events in the comic which portray Brown as defending himself against attack and have condemned the publication of this comic book.

Four years ago, a similar comic book Brown was involved with the anti-violence Cobs And Robbers, caused concerns as the Christian nature of the comic saw police refusing to distribute the book as it was an evangelist publication that didn't consider other faiths.
