The Smile Of Alan Moore

smileChannelGlycon is a new YouTube project collecting video and audio of Alan Moore together in one place.

This includes the interviews he's done with Stewart Lee for Channel Five and BBC Radio 4 and, basically, all sorts. But it also includes a video published by DC Comics where Alan talks about his process writing Swamp Thing and his upcoming work Watchmen. Watch his grin as he talks about his daughters Leah and Amber, aged 3 and 6… also his praise for Steve Bissette, Karen Berger, his vision that DC will attract women readers and his wish for someone to do a really serious superhero film, Karen Berger plugging American Gothic and Len Wein confirming his choice of Alan on Swamp Thing and his love of British comics. Damn, Alan really reminds me of Paul McCartney in places here, the tip of the head, the flop of the hair…
