Rob Liefeld To Draw Flashback Scene In Spawn #200

toddIt’s been no mystery that Spawn creator Todd McFarlane was pencilling Spawn #200, a rather monumental book for Image Comics. And he’d stated that certain guest artists might contribute flashback scenes. Well, it looks like Youngblood creator and Image founder Rob Liefeld will be one of them.

Certainly any previous animosity between Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefeld seemed to be over at this San Diego Comic Con and I took a shot of them working out which bits of an fan’s issue of Spider-Man by Todd were inked by Rob Liefeld.

Then on a post in Rob’s forum, he talks about his current workload “I am drawing FIVE different projects! IMAGE UNITED! KILLRAVEN! DEADPOOL! YOUNGBLOOD! ARMAGEDDON!”, the instant reaction “Ooh, new Deadpool from Rob?” was superceded by a follow up line “I am pencilling a portion of Spawn #200 as well as a cover for Spawn #200.”

Which also begs the question – who else is going to be drawing for Spawn #200? Other Image founders? Which other big name creators?
