The new Downton Abbey film A New Era will come out on May 20th, delaying the release by over two months from its original March date.

Sounds like the next period drama from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellows, The Gilded Age, will be headed to a new home at HBO, from it's previously revealed network of NBC.
HBO announced today a 10-episode production commitment to the series, with HBO President of Programming Casey Bloys saying:

After several months of speculation and back and forth, it would appear that Focus Features has officially greenlit a Downton Abbey movie.
